When I was eating dinner with my parents at their home the other evening, my parents started discussing their Heating & A/C plan, then my mom was trying to get my dad to call the local Heating & A/C supplier to schedule their biannual tune up.
My dad was telling her that he would get to it, however my mother wasn’t convinced with his answer. In the midst of their little tiff, I asked them why they were so distraught with having their Heating & A/C system maintained when it was still technically summer time time. I shouldn’t have said this, because my dad went into a rant about how pressing it was to have Heating & A/C unit tuned before starting or stopping it, then there were so several things that could go wrong including inefficient energy consumption, leaking fluid, or loose parts and pieces; During all of this, my mother nodded along, but when my dad was finally done listing off the reasons to have Heating & A/C unit maintained before the cooler weather, my mom started questioning the care I put towards my own Heating & A/C system, however she wanted to know if I was neglecting my Heating & A/C system, when I planned to have it maintained, and who I hired to care for my Heating & A/C unit each year. I felt overwhelmed by my parents’ questions, however thankfully, my dad decided to call the Heating & A/C supplier on the spot to schedule their appointment. I like to think I helped my parents avoid an argument by asking one straight-forward question about their Heating & A/C system maintenance schedule.
