The Best Thing I Can Do Is Hire an HVAC Professional

Most of my friends and family members love this time of year, where the leaves are changing and the temperatures are cooling down.

Even though it’s the beginning of September, I’ve already seen a lot of homes in my neighborhood with pumpkins on their doorsteps.

I wouldn’t say that I hate this time of year, but I strongly dislike it for reasons that most wouldn’t guess. I love the cooler temperatures and the changing leaves, but this always signals an HVAC tune up. Whether I like it or not, I have my HVAC system tuned twice per year: once in the spring and once in the fall. Most people who have their HVAC system serviced biannually do it, because it ensures that their HVAC systems are taken care of and running as efficiently as possible. I, on the other hand, have my HVAC system serviced biannually because if I don’t, my already horribly inefficient HVAC system will consume even more energy and cost me a fortune to run. It also means that there’s a 90% chance something will break down, causing me to pay an emergency repair cost, which is never cheap. My HVAC system is old and it needs to be replaced, but I’m not in a financial position to replace it quite yet. The best thing I can do is pay for the biannual HVAC tune ups and pray that the equipment runs smoothly until my next HVAC tune up. I’m not sure how much longer I can keep living like this.
