Stick with HVAC maintenance

It’s been tough to figure out how to make it with less money on top of this inflation.

Just buying groceries is now 30 to 40 percent more than it was just a couple of years ago.

Inside the central air conditioning of our house, we’re trying so hard to find the new normal. But it’s not working out so well for us. I had to take a pay cut to work remotely from the air conditioning of my home. That was a non-negotiable condition of employment during that first Spring of the pandemic. It was either take a pay cut and stay on inside my own quality heating and air or be done at the company. After 12 years, I wasn’t really ready to flush those years of accrued benefits and seniority down the tubes. So I took the pay cut and worked from home for more than a year. When the zone controlled HVAC was back up inside our offices and we went back to work there, my old paycheck didn’t come along. It’s been 3 years now and I’ve never gotten my normal pay rate back. My wife lost her part time job and we have been on the tightest of budgets. I almost canceled the HVAC service plan to save some money. We are sort of to that point that every single bit of spending that we can cut, we need it. However, my wife and I decided to sleep on cutting the HVAC service plan. I’m glad we did, we both realized that our HVAC equipment is far to essential to our comfort and happiness. Consistent, seasonal HVAC maintenance is just a must.
