My husband unfortunately thinks he is quite handy.
- Anytime something breaks in the house I just cringe.
He whips out his toolset and gets to work. He is downright giddy to try his hand at fixing things. He usually starts out determined and ends up super mad. He throws tools, swears, and ends up making the repair worse. When my air conditioner quit during the summer I hid it from him. A Chicago AC repair during the summer isn’t exactly cheap but it isn’t as much as buying a new system. Our air conditioner was over 15 years old. It couldn’t take the use and abuse my husband puts it through. It was honestly like trying to hide an affair from him. I had to find a reason to get my husband out of the house. I then called a Chicago AC repair company and begged them to come right away. I paid extra for an appointment that day. I also hurried the Chicago cooling repairman along since I didn’t want my husband to see him. I paid in cash and cleaned the house to hide the evnine. I then never talked about it with anyone. My husband came home and the house was perfectly cooled and nobody’s feelings were hurt. I hope that I don’t have to call for another Chicago air conditioner repair. It was extremely stressful. I was glad a business was able to help me out though on such short notice. I can’t have my husband see anything wrong with the cooling system. It is too delicate to take his form of repair.
